I believe that pregnancy, birth, and family are deeply important elements of life. I am honoured to work within the Canadian midwifery model to support and empower women and their partners.
I am the wife of an amazing man and the mother of three wonderful children and one furry dog. I am passionate about reproductive health, alternative medicine, and building strong communities. I am happy in my kitchen and I love to feed my friends and family.
I previously worked as a social worker, supporting people with intellectual disabilities and mental health issues. After attending the births of my youngest two brothers and the birth of my daughter, I became a doula. As I attended more births, I became increasingly aware of the power of birth, the strength of birthing women, and the impact a care provider has on the family. My path drew me to the Bachelor of Midwifery program in Calgary, Alberta.
I am thrilled to be a part of the lovely and supportive Birth Partnership Midwives! I look forward to meeting you and supporting you and your family as you grow and birth your baby.
